Xec is a missionary from Menorca who, since 1992, has been working in different African countries carrying out humanitarian work, always with the same goal: to ensure the schooling of street children and give them a chance at life. “If someone is hungry, don’t give them fish; teach them how to fish.” He is currently in Cotonou (Benin) launching an educational project aimed at reintegrating children who missed out on schooling during childhood and providing literacy programs for young people.

As hungry people continue to flee the atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in El Fasher, our teams are providing urgent care to those who have managed to reach the town of Tawila. There, we are witnessing extreme levels of acute malnutrition, the most serious example to date of the nutritional crisis that has been ravaging Sudan since the start of the war.

Educating minds is an initiative to help people from underdeveloped countries in a different way. As its name suggests, it is about educating the mind, but not only of the people who receive the help but also of those who give it. We need to learn how to optimize the help we put in place to make it more impact-efficient and more durable. You have to listen to people who need help and count on them to get involved in that help being real.

Gambia es el país mas pequeño de África pero cuenta con una gran población, la mayoría son niños sin escolarizar por falta de medios. Nuestro trabajo se basan principalmente en el desarrollo agrícola, sanitario, educativo, social y de promoción de la mujer, con el objetivo de ayudar al desarrollo integral de las personas en Gambia.
