The proceeds from this group go to support medical care needed by Ricard García (Richi), diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 5. Richi is currently 17 years old and lives with a long list of sequelae derived from more than 25 surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. Galgos 112 es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que se dedica al rescate y recuperación de galgos y podencos. Una vez rescatados los perros reciben el tratamiento veterinario necesario en cada caso y ya recuperados se entregan en adopción como animales de compañía. Galgos 112 no recibe subvenciones de ningún tipo. El 30% de los galgos y podencos rescatados por Galgos 112 llegan a la asociación en un estado crítico que requiere tratamientos especiales de larga duración y coste elevado.

We are Salvando Peludos, the animal rescue and awareness foundation with an indomitable character. Our work goes far beyond rescue and adoption management. At El Campito, we work every day to: We rehabilitate dogs and cats, we carry out CER (Capture, Neuter and Return) programs in feline colonies, we give talks to raise awareness about the importance of animal protection and we encourage responsible adoption.
