Alba is an inteligent funny and amusing girl. Although we well could say “was”, as a terrible tragic accident happened on fateful march 21st 2016. A relative, who was in a shock due to an epileptic attack, let Alba fall from a third floor. Alba saved her life, but a strong brain damage remains on her. Now, we have a long neurorehabilitation process left ahead to see how much she can recover and become herself again a bit. Help us!

Ciudad Animal es un refugio situado en el corazón de la Mancha, donde el galgo y los demás perros de caza son castigados, además de otros mestizos. Ahora mismo hay aproximadamente 200 perros que buscan una oportunidad. Llevamos 10 años luchando diariamente para conseguir ayudas y poder seguir con nuestra labor. Somos la Protectora de animales "Acógenos" de Cabra (Córdoba) y con casi un centenar de perros a nuestro cuidado, nos vemos siempre desbordados económicamente debido a los cuidados sanitarios y alimenticios que necesitan y a los altos precios de todo. Necesitamos mucho dinero para pagar todos los gastos que genera la protectora y sin subvenciones oficiales solo nos queda la aportación de los socios y poco mas. There, we are witnessing extreme levels of acute malnutrition, the most serious example to date of the nutritional crisis that has been ravaging Sudan since the start of the war.

We are a multispecie animal refuge, we give home to more than 150 animals of 14 different species, all the animals who live here have come to us from abusive situations or because they had no other options. Our goal is that the animals that have arrived here have the best quality of life possible and with their stories people get to know them and understand that all lives matter.

Ya son más de 100 animales rescatados y para muchos de ellos los medicamentos son vitales, como la medicación de Audrey, una gatita con leucemia y calicivirus (30€/mes), y la de Pilar que tiene calicivirus y fallo renal (25€/mes) o Frambuesa que necesita sus condroprotectores para no tener dolor (20€/mes), o los implantes de las gallinas que son imprescindibles para que Mona y Vita sigan vivas (230€/mes ya que a día de hoy son 14 gallinas implantadas). 305€ fijos más imprevistos.

With this teaming group, the goal is to raise funds to replace the roof of the building under which 150 animals of 14 different species live, and thus continue saving lives. We are currently in a critical situation; we can't wait to replace the roof this year. The architect has made it clear to us: "This roof can't withstand another winter."
