Espai de Gats is a cat adoption centre in Barcelona where we work to find homes for adult cats, who unfortunately are more invisible in shelters and refuges. Every month, we need €3,500 for dry and wet food, litter, veterinarians, medicines, rent for the premises... This non-profit project is sustainable thanks to people like you, who love animals. Hi! We are volunteers who look after feral cat colonies in Montjuïc, Barcelona. We feed around 14 cats every day. We also build little shelters for them to take refuge in when the weather's bad. If they're ill or injured we trap them to take them to the vet, sometimes with the help of an association, but they often lack resources so we pay out of our own pockets. We also find homes for some of the cats when they can no longer survive on the street for whatever reason.
