Crazy 4 Cats

We are Belén and Yessica, two individuals who care for, feed and control feline colonies in Dos Hermanas, Seville, using the CER (Capture, Sterilization and Return) method. Neutering cats, feeding, deworming and also providing veterinary care to those who need it requires a lot of TIME and EFFORT, but also MONEY. We take care of the first, but unfortunately, we are in short supply of the second. Can you help us give them a better life with your grain of sand?

Grupo solidario para cubrir gastos de mantenimiento y control de una colonia felina

We support individuals and associations that, selflessly, care for, feed and control those colonies of feral cats that many forget, and even denigrate. In this case, the solidarity group "locasXlosgatos" will be the recipient of the money raised in our Teaming Group to help them with their work: feeding, STERILIZING, deworming, providing veterinary care... to stray cats. Belén and Yessica are responsible for the project. The money raised will be received by Belén Peñalva who will manage the funds. All money raised will be invested in expenses on food, deworming, medications, neutering and veterinary bills.

Han pasado 3 años desde que empezamos este proyecto y seguimos a pie de cañón . La colonia de La Parcela, en la que hemos enfocado casi toda nuestra atención, ha evolucionado en todo este tiempo. Unos fallecieron, otros desaparecieron… y muchos han aparecido y ahora forman parte de la familia felina. Hemos esterilizado a muuuuchos gatos y gatas, hemos encontrado adopción a camadas y a gatitos rescatados, hemos construido refugios, hemos tratado dermatitis, gingivitis, conjuntivitis, bronconeumonías, mastitis, cistitis, heridas abiertas… incluso cálculos renales que han requerido sondaje y alimentación especial. Los gatos son seres vivos y por tanto en determinados momentos de sus vidas necesitan atención veterinaria. Esto sumado a que necesitamos continuar capturando y castrando (actualmente hay 5 gatos machos y 3 gatas hembras por castrar), a que necesitan ser desparasitados mensualmente y a que CADA DÍA son alimentados, se traduce en un gasto continuo. Llevábamos mucho tiempo sin compartir nuestro grupo Teaming, pero volvemos con fuerzas para continuar con este proyecto tan bonito y necesario que es atender a uno de los seres más olvidados, necesitados y maltratados de nuestro país: los gatos callejeros.
