GREFA is a non-profit NGO declared to be of public interest which, for 45 years, has been dedicated to projects for the conservation of endangered species as well as the rescue and rehabilitation of injured or sick wild animals. Somos Kuna Ibérica, un grupo de profesionales y amigos encargados de un centro de rehabilitación y acogida de fauna salvaje. Damos cobijo a animales de la fauna Ibérica que han sufrido accidentes que les impiden vivir en libertad. Además acogemos ejemplares de especies invasoras como las Tortugas de Atocha. La sostenibilidad del centro es posible gracias a las visitas, los voluntariados y los amadrinamientos. Cualquier ayuda es bien recibida.

We are a family from Spain. Our son Mateo, has a genetic mutation in the NEK8 gene, considered ultra rare, that is damaging his organs. When he was 9 months old, he had a liver transplant and when he was 3 years old, a kidney transplant. In a future he could need a heart transplant, also. There is a research team that can help him to stop his illness but they need funding (€62,000). Your contribution can save him.
