"La Casa de las Estrellas" is an Animal Sanctuary and Rescue Centre in Lanzarote where rescued animals are given a second chance. Since its foundation in 2020 more than 800 animals of all kinds have been cared for. There are currently around 200 in our care. Become a teamer to help us continue our work!

Hoy volvemos a cambiar una vida.
Os presentamos a Iris.
La hemos sacado de la perrera… y con ello deja atrás el sufrimiento, el abandono y todo lo que nunca debió vivir.
Ahora empieza su camino hacia algo mejor.
Iris ya se está preparando para viajar hacia su nueva familia.
El primer paso es cuidar su cuerpo: chequeo veterinario completo, analítica, test de las cuatro enfermedades y una radiografía de su patita… que nos ha mostrado una antigua fractura que soldó mal.
Pero no solo sanaremos su cuerpo.
También vamos a ayudarle a curar su alma, a recuperar la confianza, a volver a creer.
Poco a poco, con paciencia y amor, prepararemos a Iris para volar. ✈️✨
Gracias por estar siempre ahí, por hacerlo posible. Sin vosotros, nada de esto ocurriría.
Today we’re changing a life again.
Meet Iris.
We rescued her from the pound… and with that, she leaves behind suffering, abandonment, and everything she should have never gone through.
Now her journey toward something better begins.
Iris is already getting ready to travel to her new family.
The first step is taking care of her body: a full veterinary check-up, blood tests, screening for four diseases, and an X-ray of her little paw… which has revealed an old fracture that healed incorrectly.
But we won’t only heal her body.
We’ll also help mend her soul, rebuild her trust, and help her believe again.
Little by little, with patience and love, we’ll prepare Iris to fly. ✈️✨
