Esta preciosidad, a la que hemos llamado TAMBOR, se encontró abandonada en un parque turístico. Si crees saber quién son sus dueños no dudes en contactarnos aunque tenga más pinta de un abandono ya que no hay casas alrededor.... Ya llegó el verano, los cambios de vida, las alergias o cualquier otra tontería que se ocurra para coger el juguete comprado en la tienda y soltarlo por ahí. Un conejo vive medianamente 8/10 años así que el regalo de Navidad o Reyes comprado a tu hijo estará todavía ahí cuando el sea mayor. Si no están listos para estos compromisos es mejor pensarlo dos veces!

This beauty, who we've named TAMBOR (THUMPER), was found abandoned in a tourist park. If you think you know who its owners are do not hesitate to contact us even though it looks more like an abandonment since there are no houses around.... Summer has come, life changes, allergies or any other nonsense that you think of to take the toy bought in the store and leave it there. A rabbit lives on average 8/10 years so the gift for Christmas or Kings bought to your child will still be there when he is older. If you are not ready for these commitments it is better to think twice!

This beautiful girl, MAGDA, arrived in June from a very severe abuse situation. She was born with a paw malformation, and she has never been seen by a vet. We've already started veterinary check-ups and she underwent spaying surgery, during which she was diagnosed with hydrometra. It's a form of pyometra with bleeding. The orthopaedic surgeon is evaluating the possibility of operating on her paws to give her a better quality of life.
At the beginning of this month, MAGDA had a big day: she had a CAT scan and a specialist consultation in Tenerife. Now we have to wait for the doctor to study the results and tell us what will be the next step. Your monthly teaming is a great help towards the help MAGDA needs, thank YOU!

Todavía no se había levantado el sol que nuestro herrero ya estaba a la obra. A desayunar con las pezuñas hechas. Nello, Jerry, Tom, Burry y Pepe se quedaron felices.

Rodolfo se va recuperando. Una infección multisistémica lo dejó con serios problemas neuronales y de coordinación de movimientos. Poco a poco va recuperando sus movimientos y empieza a comer solo. Todo un luchador!

Rodolfo is recovering. A multisystem infection left him with serious neurological problems and movement coordination issues. Little by little, he's regaining his mobility and is starting to eat alone. He's a true fighter.

Nuestro PIMKIE se está poniendo guapo y al día. Pasamos una revisión veterinaria. La analítica mejor de lo esperado así que somos muy felices. Ya está en cura por la infección bacteriana que tiene en las encías y con complejo vitamínico para ponerse fuerte.
Our PIMKIE is getting handsome and healthy. We had a veterinary checkup. The blood tests were better than expected, so we're very happy. He's now being treated for the bacterial infection in his gums and is taking a vitamin supplement to get stronger.

LUPITA decidió sorprendernos y a los pocos días de ser rescatada nos regaló 3 bebés. Lupita llegó muy débil y con muchas complicaciones así que nos queda cruzar los dedos para que sus bebes puedan seguir adelante

No tenemos buenas noticias para nuestro DOBBY Acudimos al veterinario porqué de vez en cuando levantaba su patita trasera. No padecía dolor a la manipulación pero había algo que no cuadraba. Efectivamente nos hemos encontrado con una vieja lesión no tratada. Una vieja fractura desintegró la cabeza del fémur y esto hace que Dobby no siempre utilice propiamente su patita provocando una atrofia muscular unilateral. Ya programamos su cirugía. Dobby es un perro joven y merece disfrutar de una vida normal, plena y saludable

It's not good news about our DOBBY. We had to go to the vet because every once in a while he wasn’t using one of his back paws. He wasn’t showing pain during the check but there was something not right. And actually from the x-ray we found an old injury that hadn't been treated. A fracture has disintegrated the head of the femore and this has affected Dobby from using the back leg correctly, causing monolateral muscle atrophy. His surgery has already been scheduled. Dobby is a young dog and he deserves to have a full and healthy, normal life.

Nuestro regalo de Navidad llegó en una caja de cartón. Gracias a la bondad navideña estas pequeñitas no fueron tiradas a la basura o ahogadas si no se tomaron la molestia de ponerlas bien resguardadas dentro de una caja de cartón y abandonadas donde podían ser vistas. Tenemos hasta que estar agradecidos por este abandono con conciencia.... Ojalá hubiera pensado antes en esterilizar a la madre. En fin ... Lo de siempre...

Our Christmas gift came in a cardboard box. Thanks to the Christmas kindness these little ones were not thrown in the garbage or drowned..at least they had the “decency” to put them well protected inside a carton box and abandoned where they could be seen. We have to be grateful for this abandonment with conscience... I wish they had thought of sterilizing the mother before. In short...always the same...

Como os hemos prometido os cuentamos el día de ayer. El pasado viernes nos contactaron para pedirnos ayuda. Una situación de emergencia para 11 podencos. Se tenía que actuar rápido para poder salvar estás vidas. Gracias a la colaboración de Podenco's Angel Rescue y Adopta un amigo en gran Canaria logramos realizar un rescate lampo y estas almas se encuentran ya a salvo en Lanzarote. Ya pasaron la primera revisión veterinaria y precisarán muchos cuidados y curas pero ya están con la barriga llenita y calentitos

As promised, we told you yesterday. Last Friday they contacted us to ask for help. An emergency situation for 11 posencos. We had to act quickly to save these lives. Thanks to the collaboration of Podenco's Angels Rescue -ODV and Adopt a friend Gran Canaria we managed to carry out a quick rescue and these souls are now safe in Lanzarote. They have already passed their first veterinary check-up and will need a lot of care and cures, but they already have a full belly and are warm.
