At Rifugio Miletta over 300 animals find freedom and peaceful life, living together in peace and harmony, coming from situations of hardship, suffering, and slavery. Rifugio Miletta is also a Wild Live Rescue Center. The costs are enormous and to continue we need help from all people sensitive to animal rights.

Oasi Ohana is a shelter for abandoned dogs or those who have spent their lives as strays, and is located in Santa Margherita di Belice, in the province of Agrigento. Ohana means family. Family means that no one is abandoned. Or forgotten. It was founded almost 10 years ago by Chiara Calasanzio, now 30, who transformed her family's country house into a real sanctuary for dogs. Today it houses 70 dogs.

The Animal Sanctuary Capra Libera Tutti is a place where animals which are usually considered as products are saved from exploitation and slaughter and find refuge. About 400 animals live in complete freedom, here they are not considered neither ingredients nor products. For their maintenance, for medical care and for the preservation of the facilities, constant help is needed to ensure that this place can continue to exist and resist. La Fondation Benjamin Mehnert est une organisation à but non lucratif qui se consacre à la défense d'animaux de compagnie qui souffrent de mauvais traitements ou de négligence. Nous concentrons notre travail principalement sur le sauvetage, le rétablissement et le déplacement des lévriers dans les foyers familiaux, leur offrant ainsi une nouvelle opportunité comme animaux de compagnie. Bien que nous nous consacrions principalement à la récupération des lévriers, actuellement dans notre refuge vivent plus de 700 animaux....
