ProDogRomania ist ein eingetragener Verein, der sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, Leben und Lebensqualität der Hunde in Rumänien (Baile Herculane und Ploiesti) zu schützen. Unsere Projekte: 1) Privates Tierheim von Mishu Stoica in BaileHerculane, Süd-West-Rumänien, ca. 300 Hunde 2) Städtisches Tierheim „Bucov“ in Ploiesti 70 km von Bukarest, ca. 2000 Hunde Kooperation mit Tierschützerinnen Mihaela Teodoru und Aniela Ghita 3) Privates Tierheim „Sanctuary of Hope“

Wir, die öffentliche Facebook-Gruppe "Doina braucht unsere Hilfe" unterstützen das private shelter von Doina Popa in Bacau/ Rumänien und ihre derzeit 200 Hunde mit Futter, Tierarztkosten etc., eben mit allem, was dringend benötigt wird. Nuestra asociación tiene como objetivo mantener un refugio de 400 perros que cuidamos y tratamos diariamente. Somos la única esperanza para estos perros y necesitamos tu apoyo para seguir a su lado.

Cuando rescatas animales maltratados debes ofrecerles una zona segura donde nadie los pueda volver a dañar, un refugio que los proteja del frío, de la lluvia y del sol. Construir canalizaciones para que puedan beber agua limpia y una instalación eléctrica por si hay que cuidarlos de noche, o mantenerlos calentitos. Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.

As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed. We rescue dogs from species-non - appropriate keeping, abuse and from killing stations. We help exactly where dogs are in need. Therefore we do not think in terms of national borders. With our small animal shelter in Hemmoor (Lower Saxony) we offer a first rescue station for dogs in need. Above all, we make sure through our mediation work that our dogs have a real chance of a happy life in a new home.

Daniela Knezevic and Nadine Bartel lead the Kitten Safe House. They usually take on injured street cats, kitten thrown into the trash or abandoned cats. Try to look after them well and give them in good hands. They also look after feeding sites and catches the cats for castration. There are at least 60 cats in her house, all of whom need food, medicines, cat litter and medical care. This all costs money, you can help us to support Daniela and her crew!
