Juan tiene casi 10 años y no es cómo los demás. No habla, camina o aguanta su cabeza sólo. Es debido a una enfermedad mitocondrial que le ha provocado varias lesiones cerebrales. Necesita sesiones de fisio y estimulación diária, que hemos comprobado que le ayudan mucho, para evitar una rápida degeneración de sus capacidades. La seguridad social cubre una mínima parte de ellas lo que juntamente con su material ortopédico para paliar los efectos de la inmovilidad supone un gran costo económico.
