APAU Utrillas has been an animal shelter active since 2018. We manage a dog shelter and a cat refuge, this, since 2020. We care for abandoned or abused animals in the Cuencas Mineras region and run the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program in Utrillas. Our shelter is home to about 30 cats. Since 2008, at the Miranda Foundation we have rescued 80 horses that lived in difficult situations and mistreatment, isolation and abandonment and we have given them a life in freedom.
