Big V Sanctuary and Hospice is a Vegan Run animal sanctuary, based in Chateauponsac, France. We are a registered non-profit association caring for over 150 residents, both farmed and companion animals, who have been rescued from neglect, mistreatment or slaughter. Our vision is to create a peaceful world for all living beings; a world built on justice and respect, regardless of species. In our hospice, we take care of those nearing the end of their life, with dignity, kindness and respect.

When you rescue abused animals, you must provide a safe area where no one can harm them again, a shelter that protects them from the cold, rain and sun. Build pipes so they can drink clean water and an electrical installation in case you have to take care of them at night, or keep them warm. This group is created to help the many needs of Cal Lari, ADE’s "big" shelter. In it almost 50 horses and other animals live free. Gary, was rescued this summer of '22, a welsh pony condemned for malformation in its legs to starve and thirst in a cage of iron rods next to a road. After his rescue and hospital admission to the veterinary clinic, we have him recovering in Cal Lari. Keeping one horse a month is 200 € only in food.

More than 200 animals need your help. We dream of a definitive place, large and equipped, to make a great step in the welfare of animals, a rescue center, a sanctuary-reserve in an environment as natural as possible where endangered and unrecoverable animals that would be slaughtered were or unprotected may have hectares away from hunting grounds and human activity. With a team of experienced caregivers, veterinarians and volunteers dedicated to this big family.

Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.

We are a non-profit association NIF G88386990. We save animals in Cuba. We help 3 shelters and we have ours. We serve houses without resources for free so that they do not abandon them. Pick them up sick, run over, feed, vaccinate, sterilize, adoptions, educate, is the job. The fight here is very tough. Saving has consequences, killing or mistreating does not. CEDA is a non-profit volunteering project whose mission is the sterilization of stray animals, the rescue and rehabilitation of the sick ones, the promotion of responsible adoption and the education of society in responsible ownership and against animal abuse. In 2020, CEDA performed 1,422 free sterilizations and assisted 3,103 animals in need. In the course of the first quarter of 2021, it has already performed 582 free sterilizations.
