An educational and artistic initiative for social inclusion. Xamfrà is a social and educational project that uses music and the performing arts to promote social inclusion in a very multicultural community. We work with people in vulnerable situations and at risk of social exclusion. Currently, 300 children and young people from 24 different countries are participating in our activities. Bombay to Barcelona Library Café is a project founded by Amin Sheikh, a former street kid, where its members come from the same orphanage he grew up. He does not want them to go back on the street once they leave the orphanage, so in the café they receive employment, education, guidance and accommodation. It is also a place where around 80 street kids get food for free every day. The team is growing, help them to get a bigger place and accommodate more boys and girls like them.

Nell’ospedale Sant Joan de Déu a Barcellona abbiamo lanciato una sfida: creare un centro specializzato per curare il cancro infantile. L’obiettivo è incrementare le cure e offrire un percorso completo e personalizzato, che non discrimini per motivi economici. Il centro ospiterà 400 bambini ogni anno e avrà a disposizione 40 stanze, 8 stanze di isolamento, 30 stanze per diagnostica e 20 consulenze esterne. Il centro è in fase di costruzione, abbiamo bisogno di voi per portare a termine la sfida!

This group was brought about to help the food banks. The idea is simple: if you join us, for each euro donated each month, the Occident Foundation will donate another to buy food, up to a maximum of 100.000 euros, while the unemployment rate remains higher than 15%.
