At the Josep Carreras Foundation we have been working for more than 30 years to make leukaemia a 100% curable disease, to find 100% compatible donors for everyone, and to make displaced patients feel at home. Nuestro lema es Niños contra la Laminopatía, en concreto del tipo L-CMD. Recaudamos fondos para la investigación de esta grave enfermedad, rara entre las raras, con el sueño de encontrar curación a la misma. No se conocen más de 50 ó 60 casos registrados en el mundo, lo que hace que ni los laboratorios farmacéuticos ni los estados investiguen esta enfermedad, todo debemos conseguirlo los padres con fondos privados. Es una enfermedad degenerativa que en pocos años tiene un desenlace fatal.

Rainfer houses more than 100 primates that have suffered mistreatment, abandonment, loneliness and lack of basic care for many years. They cannot be returned to their home areas, their lives have been stolen, so we must bear the cost of their lifelong care. 3 tons of fruit and vegetables are consumed per month, which together with other necessary foods such as feed, legumes or rice, represent an average cost of €4,000 each month. La mutilación es una tradición ancestral que consiste en la extirpación total o parcial del clítoris. La práctica es tan agresiva y se realiza en unas condiciones tan nefastas que muchas de las niñas mueren durante la práctica y las que no tienen secuelas físicas y psicológicas toda su vida. Realizamos proyectos y campañas educativas en Kenia para erradicar esta tradición y dar la oportunidad a las niñas de tener una educación.
