Sonnenpfoten e.V. supports dogs in need in Andalusia. We work with Refugio Canino La Reserva, La Huella Roja Almería and Maiu Almería Canina. Many dogs are abandoned, surrendered or born on the streets. They need food, safe shelter and often urgent medical care. We raise funds, arrange adoptions to Germany, and organize sponsorships for dogs that cannot be rehomed. Our work is 100% voluntary – every euro goes directly to the dogs.

A CADASIL é uma doença hereditária rara que provoca a oclusão das pequenas artérias cerebrais, com acidentes vasculares cerebrais recorrentes e demência numa idade precoce (por volta dos 50 anos). Não existe cura, mas uma equipa de investigação do Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona) vai iniciar um ensaio clínico para ver se os tratamentos já existentes no mercado podem ajudar a retardar esta doença incapacitante.
