In en om Lelystad leven honderden zwerfkatten onder erbarmelijke omstandigheden. Veel van hen hebben parasieten, bijt wonden, ontstekingen in hun mond of zijn (ernstig) ziek. Wij hebben als doel het aantal zwerfkatten terug te dringen. Dit scheelt veel dierenleed. Las.asociaciones pasamos por momentos muy duros; no paramos de atender casos de abandonos, muchos de ellos gatas preñadas a las que debemos castrar o gatos que han sido abandonados estando muy enfermos y que nos dejan unas deudas veterinarias imposibles de asumir. La Asociación Protectora de Animales Almeriya es una protectora pequeña que trabaja a diario intentando mejorar la vida de perros y gatos en Almería. Llevamos muchos años luchando por ellos, teniendo como estandarte nuestra colonia. El pasado diciembre tuvimos que abandonar el que había sido su hogar durante más de 10 años.
