Porcikomodi is one the the largest, oldest and most populated animal sanctuaries that protects animals rescued from the meat industry in Italy. Vitadacani ODV is a voluntary not-for-profit association which works for the protection of animal rights. It fights to combat abandonment, vivisection, the exploitation, maltreatment and trade or trafficking in animals of any kind (for hunting, the circus, the fur trade, animal fighting, force feeding)and tackles the issue of strays. It also promotes a vegan culture.

Sono una volontaria che si occupa quotidianamente di più di 50 gatti randagi situati in due colonie a Bagnoli (Na) e a Pozzuoli. Mi occupo di sfamarli, sterilizzarli e dare loro cure veterinarie quando serve. Oltre a ciò, recupero cuccioli sul territorio, li accudisco, li porto dal veterinario per le cure di cui hanno bisogno e cerco loro adozione. Chiedo un piccolo supporto a tutti gli amanti di animali e gatti, perchè da sola non riesco più ad assicurare loro tutto quanto serve.

La nostra priorità è dare una speranza ai trovatelli del nostro paese. Ci troviamo in provincia di Salerno è il nostro scopo principale è quello di eliminare il randagio perché non sempre i cani vaganti sono bene visti nel nostro territorio. Ci adoperiamo per sterilizzare, ma soprattutto per accogliere i cagnolini nella nostra struttura, curarli e trovare loro una bellissima famiglia amorevole. Grazie al vostro aiuto possiamo salvare sempre più randagi.

Si chiama Balzoo Disabilandia la casa-rifugio che, prima a Rovigo ed ora a Milano, accoglie gatti sfortunati che, a causa di incidenti o violenze, hanno perso la loro fisiologica autonomia. A Balzoo Disabilandia giungono richieste d’aiuto da ogni parte d’Italia e non solo, da parte di associazioni, privati e cliniche veterinarie che si trovano a scontrarsi con il ‘problema’ della disabilità: il destino di questi gatti è troppo spesso la soppressione, la nostra casa è l’alternativa.
