Girls in Kasenda miss an average of 7 weeks of school each year because they do not have access to menstrual hygiene products, which has a negative impact on their academic performance, as well as undermining their confidence and dignity. We are students at La Sapienza in Rome and since 2017 we spend our holidays in Kenya as volunteering teachers in a secundary school. The school tries to give girls the possibility to continue studying and be able to choose not to marry, not to undergo genital mutilation and not to start working when they are 14. The situation of stray dogs in Morocco is dramatic. Rachid Mihdam and I (Muriel Bény) have joined forces and our hearts to save street dogs. Rachid transformed his house into a small shelter for dogs that we have saved over the years. We have to face many expenses for food, care, vaccinations but also sterilizations that are necessary.

About 400 animals live in complete freedom, here they are not considered neither ingredients nor products. For their maintenance, for medical care and for the preservation of the facilities, constant help is needed to ensure that this place can continue to exist and resist. The total costs exceed 250 euros per day.
