I have over 1200 friends on FaceBook, and probably as many followers who are not friends, but no matter what I post I can't seem to get anyone else to join my teaming.net Food and Care for the Cat Colonies and Strays in Paphos and Chloraka account. Anyone have any ideas? Could you please help spread the word?
Thank a lot,
John

So if you like this gentle little dog, you could probably easily catch the dog and adopt the dog. Give it the loving life it deserves for the rest of it's life. Dogs and cats should be part of your family forever. Never adopt and then abandon.
NEVER! I'm 70 now and in my profile it gives me the option to say whether I'm single, married, or in a relationship. I've said I'm single, but I'm in a relationship - with cats!
The last woman I was in a serious relationship with got me to adopt a cat for her from Paphiakos, which, BTW, involved a fair bit of expense - they don't do it for free. You have to pay for the health checks, inoculations and then, a cash contribution. But how that relationship ended was because she stopped feeding the cat and it had to rake through bins to find things to eat.
Dumped her as soon as I found out.
She actually got people to phone me and threaten me, but as soon as I explained to them exactly what happened, they never bothered me again.
So I am no longer interested in relationships with women - for one thing, all my time is spent on the cats and raising enough to feed them. For another, who has time for women when they have more than eighty cats to look after?
And for another, I no longer have the money to take women out to dinner. And just to add to that, I have no interest in women who are on the phone, texting, when they are supposed to be with me.
But the main thing with me is the cats. I love people who love cats. People who would treat them casually, not take them into their family, not treat them as family, not love them forever until death do you part - they are not my friends.
I may have some FaceBook friends who are like that, but that wasn't intentional and I'll get rid of you if I find out that you don't love your family pets as you should love them, for life!
You know what to do if you want to support me... send a quick few Euros to feed-the-cats@mail.com through PayPal. Doesn't have to be a lot. Tonight a Facebook friend sent me 19 Euros. It enabled me to get a bag of kibbles and a few cans of food. It enabled me to be able to give the cats a bit more than the bare minimum.
I think I'll upload a video soon of how so many cats gather around my feet that I have to throw some food on the ground to let me walk without tripping up. Plus, there's a colony I really need someone to take over, because I've had to move the feeding station down a rocky hill, and I can hardly get down there even using my walking stick.... Volunteers, if you are in Paphos, please PM me... But only if you are committed and will never let the cats down... And will make arrangements for them if you go away for a while xxx
That little dog has meanwhile disappeared. I don't know if someone else has taken him in or what's happened, but he's not been around for weeks now....

This is my friendliest colony, and the one I first started feeding 8 years ago. A number of these cats let me pick them up. Not many colony cats allow that.Thank you to my team members. I know some of you also donate occasionally to my feed-the-cats@mail.com through PayPal or to my Revolut account, @ronald5thh. They all need fresh food and water and also a number need vet care.

We have 10 team members now. The feeding team is growing slowly but surely. Keep on sharing please, because I'm probably not going to get enough team members just from my own Facebook friends. Fifty teamers provides me €50.00 a month, and that will definitely help. But with 250 team members, it would make a life-changing difference for the cats. And with 500 team members, it would help take care of vet bills too.
Thank you all and much love from me and the cats. xx

Well, it's been a slow start to help feed the cats through the teaming project, but people have said they will join the team, which only involves them signing up for €1.00/month.
Five people not including myself have now joined the Feed The Cats team.
Thank you so much to the people who have joined my feeding Team, and I greatly look forward to many more people joining the feeding team.
After all, a single Euro a month may mean next to nothing for you, but it all adds up and eventually, there is going to be enough donated per month to feed the strays and colonies of Paphos and upper and lower Chloraka, as well as to pay veterinary bills for spaying and helping sick or injured cats.
