Kittens Shelter for Leukemic Cats. On April 9th, 2021, the 8 babies of Bombay were born, a kitten rescued 21 days earlier from the street. An angel suffering from 3 mastitis since giving birth, yet continuing to breastfeed her babies. Two months later, we find out that both the 8 babies and Bombay are positive for Leukemia, and today 'Bombay Family' begins to fulfill a dream and not abandon the weakest at the worst moment. This monthly fundraiser serves two main purposes: Providing an OPPORTUNITY for our little ones to have a QUALITY of life ☺️. With your help, we can cover their expenses for food, litter, and supplements. It's essential for us not only to have a shelter where our little ones live happily but also to provide them with all the necessary care so they can live as they deserve . We have 15 cats in the shelter, 5 cats in foster homes, and a waiting list of over 50 cats ACROSS Spain in CAGES, GARAGES, AND COLONIES, waiting for a spot that we don't have . Space is truly limited, and fosterings and adoptions are scarce . Once we cover the monthly expenses, the remaining funds will be used to fulfill a dream... A SANCTUARY FOR POSITIVE CATS . Agosto ha sido un mes de cuidados intensivos, pero también de pequeños avances.

Con vuestro apoyo, este mes nos ayudáis con los gastos básicos de supervivencia de nuestros 19 pequeños (14 en refugio + 5 en acogida).

Resumen de gastos mensuales:

✅ Alquiler del refugio: 979€ (un alivio saber que tenemos un techo para ellos).

✅ Luz: 373€ (el aire acondicionado es esencial: nuestros gatos no pueden pasar ni frío ni calor por su sistema inmunitario debilitado).

✅ Comida especializada: 450€ (dietas hidrolizadas, gastroprotectores, hipoalergénicas… para gestionar sus enfermedades crónicas).

✅ Medicamentos: Más de 100€ este mes, y algunas donaciones a través de la lista deseos.

Situación actual:

➡️ 13 gatos en refugio, 1 pre-adoptado, 5 en acogida, y más de 60 en lista de espera (en jaulas, garajes o colonias).

➡️ Adopciones y acogidas: Seguimos luchando contra la falta de espacio y la alta demanda. Cada “sí” es una victoria, pero necesitamos más.

➡️ Sueño del santuario: Nos encantaría deciros que está cerca, pero no es cierto. Cada mes los gastos superan los ingresos, siendo muy difícil dejar un colchón a parte para cumplir nuestro sueño… a veces pensamos en abrir un grupo de teaming y no tocarlo con este fin… ¿te unirías?
