Kittens Shelter for Leukemic Cats. On April 9th, 2021, the 8 babies of Bombay were born, a kitten rescued 21 days earlier from the street. An angel suffering from 3 mastitis since giving birth, yet continuing to breastfeed her babies. Two months later, we find out that both the 8 babies and Bombay are positive for Leukemia, and today 'Bombay Family' begins to fulfill a dream and not abandon the weakest at the worst moment. This monthly fundraiser serves two main purposes: Providing an OPPORTUNITY for our little ones to have a QUALITY of life ☺️. With your help, we can cover their expenses for food, litter, and supplements. It's essential for us not only to have a shelter where our little ones live happily but also to provide them with all the necessary care so they can live as they deserve . We have 15 cats in the shelter, 5 cats in foster homes, and a waiting list of over 50 cats ACROSS Spain in CAGES, GARAGES, AND COLONIES, waiting for a spot that we don't have . He decidido colaborar con vuestra causa porque es un tema que me ha tocado de muy cerca, lo he padecido y sé lo difícil que es esta enfermedad.
Hace tan solo 2 meses y medio que perdí a mi Cindy de 5 añitos, una gatita increíblemente cariñosa que recogí de la calle y que resultó tener leucemia (ese debería ser el motivo por el cuál la abandonaron); aún y tendiendo en casa a mis 4 gat@s sanos, decidí quedármela, darle un hogar y todo el amor del mundo. La alojé en la planta de arriba de mi casa, para que no tuviera contacto físico con el resto de mis gatos y no les contagiara la leucemia, pero sí tenían contacto visual y auditivo (de esta forma no estaba sola ni aislada). Subía mínimo 3 veces al día para pasar horas con ella jugando o tan solo haciéndonos compañía. Fue muy feliz y cuando la enfermedad empezó a manifestarse, se le dio todas las atenciones y todos los tratamientos que había, pero aún y así, actualmente ya sabemos cuál es el fatal pronóstico de esta maldita enfermedad. El pasado 6 de febrero falleció.
Me quedo con que no sufrió, estuve con ella hasta el final y fue muy feliz estando con nosotros, pero no dejo de preguntarme para cuando descubrirán un cura para esta maldita enfermedad que es la leucemia felina.

Hola, gracias Soraya yo me uni al grupo tengo un gato con inmuno y otro con leucemia e inmuno estamos luchando contra la enfermedad asíque conocemos las dificultades. Animo con cariño se puede
