The Donkey Paradise is a sanctuary for old, sick and abandoned donkeys. Marleen Verhoef and her volunteers take care of about 30 donkeys in Asturias, Northern Spain. Your kind contribution will be spent on food and medical care for the donkeys.

We are a tiny animal rescue to help donkeys and mules in the north of Spain (we are located in the eastern part of Asturias). We are not a sanctuary, but we help find good adoption homes for donkeys in need. We hope to be able to foster donkeys temporarily in the future. Always to prepare them for an adoption: foster, treat medical or behavioural problems, find them a home.

Somos una Asociacion Protectora de Animales, nos encargamos principalmente de los animales del concejo de Arriondas (Parres/ ASTURIAS) aunque no miramos para otro lado con casos de otros concejos. Nuestro principal objetivo es evitar el maltrato y abandono y fomentar la adopcion de animales sin hogar. Necesitamos de vuestra pequeña aportacion mensual para sufragar los gastos veterinarios, pues carecemos de subenciones, y nuestras facturas se acumulan. GRACIAS POR VUESTRA COLABORACION
