The Donkey Paradise is a sanctuary for old, sick and abandoned donkeys. Marleen Verhoef and her volunteers take care of about 30 donkeys in Asturias, Northern Spain. Your kind contribution will be spent on food and medical care for the donkeys.

We are not a sanctuary with permanent residents; we rescue animals and treat any physical and/or behavioural problems, always with the aim of them finding them an adoption home.

El santuario se encuentra en Lugo, la finca está rodeada por varios kilómetros de bosque, los habitantes del santuario pueden disfrutar de varias hectáreas de verdes praderas y zonas arboladas.
