The de-eucalyptization brigades organize and coordinate environmental volunteering actions in collaboration with owners of land with environmental values degraded or threatened by eucalyptization and other invasive exotic species. By eradicating these species and replacing them with other autochthonous ones of high ecosystemic value with the aim that the affected areas do not burn again and that they help as protective zones, serving as green firebreaks and biodiversity corridors.

Oggi sono essenziali per preservare torbiere e brughiere umide, ridurre gli incendi boschivi, sequestrare il carbonio e prevenire il degrado degli ecosistemi.
