SOS Podenco Rescue saves podencos from the streets and from killing stations, gives them vet treatment, and finds them a forever home. Our only purpose is to fight for this wonderful breed that is ignored and not wanted in Spain, as they are only considered huntils tools, not pets. Le chien fer est le chien nu de martinique , il est là depuis l’époque des amérindiens le premier peuple à avoir vécu ici avec leurs animaux et surtout le chien fer . L’association a pour but de protéger le fer de pouvoir garder cette race unique de la caraïbe française ,une reconnaissance de la race ,des recherches génétiques mais avant tout faire connaître à tout le monde l’unique et plus beau chien de la martinique

Galgos del Sol is a non profit charity located in Murcia, Spain. We are dedicated to rescue abandoned and injured galgos to rehabilitate them and find them forever homes in different parts of the world. Thousands of galgos are abandoned or killed each year at the end of the hunting season. Galgos del Sol depends totally on donations for our survival, join our group and change the lives of many of them. Thank you.

A charitable organization helping to rescue and rehabilitate Podencos from the cruelty that bestows them at the hands of the hunters in Spain. To neuter, blood test vaccinate etc, provide veterinary care and a sanctuary for these dogs until they are able to be re-homed.
