GAIATGN es la Asociación Grup Acollides i Adopcions Tarragona. Se trata de una Asociación para la Defensa y Protección Animal de Tarragona surgida de la experiencia del voluntariado en protectoras de animales. Después de ver la realidad, un conjunto de voluntarios decidió sacar adelante esta iniciativa que trabaja para conseguir la adopción y acogida de perros y gatos, que están en un hogar mientras esperan una familia. Los fondos están vehiculados a través de una cuenta particular.

Actualment gestionem diferents colònies de Calafell, a part de gestionar acollides i adopcions dels gossos i gats trobats al municipi, si podem abans de que siguin traslladats a una protectora massificada , on passen desapercebuts durant anys.
