The charity uses a personal bank account to collect donations. We rely solely on the generosity of the public to make this happen. We don't receive any funding from the local Government. Sociedad Protectora para Animales de Torrevieja’ (or S.A.T) is a registered charity, formed in 1992 whose aim is to alleviate the local stray and abandoned dog problem, in the Vega Baja area of Spain. Today, with its kennels at Dolores we can home up to 70 dogs, giving the best care until they find their forever homes.
