Galgos del Sol is a non profit charity located in Murcia, Spain. We are dedicated to rescue abandoned and injured galgos to rehabilitate them and find them forever homes in different parts of the world. Thousands of galgos are abandoned or killed each year at the end of the hunting season. Galgos del Sol depends totally on donations for our survival, join our group and change the lives of many of them. Thank you.

Necesitamos ayuda para mantener a mas de 250 animales, entre perros y gatos. Tenemos que cubrir gastos veterinarios, alquiler de refugio, medicamentos, suministros, material de limpieza, comida, etc. No recibimos ayuda de ningún organismo público, sobrevivimos gracias donativos y eventos solidarios. Mucha gente desea ayudar con mas de un 1€ al mes, por eso hemos creado este grupo y algún otro más. As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed. This collection supports the rescue and the already rescued dogs from the killing home of Alexandria in Romania. The follow-up costs are high and many dogs need at least time, if not professional help, because they are completely scared. Accommodation, medical care, coaches etc. must be financed. Only with time, effort and effort can these dogs, after their nightmares to kill them, be prepared under human custody for a beautiful dog life.

In unserem Katzenhaus in Wolgast leben im Schnitt an die 100 Katzen. Ungewollte, Kranke und Alte bekommen hier ihr Bettchen auf Lebenszeit. Alle anderen Katzen werden nach Möglichkeit vermittelt. Wir haben immer wieder hohe Tierarztrechnungen durch Kastrationen, Impfungen und Notfälle.

Veterinary costs are always the number one concern for a shelter. Which is why we depend on support for neutering, operations on street animals and animal shelters!

Unsere absoluten Herzenstiere sind beeinträchtigte Katzen - allen voran querschnittgelähmte und inkontinente Katzen. Wir schenken Katzen ein Zuhause, die sonst keine Chance mehr auf ein Leben gehabt hätten. Unser privates Tierheim finanziert sich zu 100% aus privaten Spenden.
