Santuario Vegan was born in 2011 with the purpose that we work for every day of the year: saving and protecting farmed animals. Thanks to your support, more than 300 residents: horses, donkeys, cows, bulls, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry were saved from a certain death. Here, they receive love, care and health treatment in a natural space away from exploitation.

This is a sanctuary to help abused & abandoned horses and other species. Live 64 equines and other animals in the sanctuary. The approximate cost per horse per month is 120 euros if they are in good health; if there are not, the amount can go up to a few hundreds of euros and even thousands. Reserva Katau is an association dedicated to rescuing and recovering all kinds of animals (domestic, considered farm and unrecoverable wild). We need to mantain basic food for all animals that live permanently in our animal sanctuary. They are pigeons, quails, partige, chickens, tortoises, cats and dog...and who knows...Only for birds thats means 950e, and just two of them are adopted, the rest have no external, private o public help. So, help us if you feel so. For pigeons the came from 50% shooting and 50% feral in distress.

When you rescue abused animals, you must provide a safe area where no one can harm them again, a shelter that protects them from the cold, rain and sun. Build pipes so they can drink clean water and an electrical installation in case you have to take care of them at night, or keep them warm. To get THE safe HOME that these almost 300 animals need, we only have our hands and your donations. Your monthly euro can help us achieve this.

VERA is created to provide veterinary care to rescued animals, in sanctuaries, in shelters or in private homes. We believe that altruistic veterinary labor is necessary to be able to rescue as many animals as possible, without the cost of this service being a limitation. We also have a small sanctuary where different species of rescued animals live, that also serves as a temporary home for animals that will later travel to their final home.

We are a multispecie animal refuge, we give home to more than 150 animals of 14 different species, all the animals who live here have come to us from abusive situations or because they had no other options. Our goal is that the animals that have arrived here have the best quality of life possible and with their stories people get to know them and understand that all lives matter.
