This village had to be cleared a few years ago for coal mining. The people were resettled, unfortunately, for me and my buddies probably no room in the new home of our people. WE WERE ROAD DOGS !!! We need a shelter (resettlement), fences need to be set, regular veterinary care and of course food needs to be funded. In addition, it can not be foreseen whether all of us can ever be contacted. We need you !!!

Unterwegs sind wir in Rumänien und betreuen dort mit unserem Team ein kleines privates Shelter. Zu unseren Aufgaben gehören regelmäßige Fütterung Touren der dort an Ketten lebenden Hunde, welche von niemandem versorgt werden! Wir sichern kranke und verletzte Tiere aus den Bergen. Da wir in unserem Team auch eine Tierärztin vor Ort haben, welche die Touren immer mit begleitet, können diese Tiere auch gleich Professionell versorgt werden!

animal welfare is often not funny, often not beautiful, pushes you to your limits, can end friendships and relationships, does not make you rich, sometimes makes you sleepless, is accompanied by many tears - why do we do that then: we can not explain it, but every rescued animal life gives us strength to continue to do and believe in it. And when we look into those bright dog eyes, we know it was not in vain, because they give us the strength to go on.

Wir fördern sehr gezielt das Kastrieren von Straßenhunden und Straßenkatzen in Rumänien. Weil wir nicht alle Tiere vermitteln können, wollen wir verhindern, dass das Problem immer größer wird. Jede Kastration hilft das Tierleid zu verringern. Nur mit flächendeckenden Kastrationskampagnen können wir das Tierleid verringern.

Wir unterstützen Tierschützer vor Ort um die aufgenommenen Notfälle mit Futter zu versorgen, ihnen die nötige medizinische Versorgung zu gewährleisten und Lebenssituationen zu verbessern. Wir sind ebenso stets bemüht, mit Durchführung von Kastrationen von Straßen- und Besitzertieren das Leid zusätzlicher Streuner einzudämmen.

Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.

The Yellow Paw e.V. is a registered non-profit association and has existed since 2021. We have set ourselves the goal of rescuing dogs from killing stations or street dogs in Romania. Stray cats are also among our protégés. We mediate dogs, in cooperation with the organization Flash Pet, to terminals with traces, EU passports and all the necessary precautions.
