The Nelloporcello antispecist Sanctuary, where live Animals that survived the food industry (pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits), is a project that belongs to "L'Arcobaleno di Olivia", an association for the protection of animal rights, promoting a antispecist , vegan and cruelty free lifestyle.

Everyday a group of special volunteers dedicates time, energies and so much love to 250 cats in the city of Catania. Many are free in their habitat, which is our large Cat Sanctuary, others are fostered in our shelter and our homes. Without any kind of economic help by pubblic Institutions, we carry on thanks to the wonderful support of our adopters and of those who know our work and really wants to help cats. Nous donnons de l'EAU POTABLE aux familles du Yémen déplacées par plus de 8 ans de guerre. Le Yémen est la plus grande urgence humanitaire de la planète et souffre épidémie de choléra et une mortalité infantile choquante. Grâce à vos euros, nous achetons et remplissons des citernes d'eau dans des camps de déplacés et des écoles. Nous en avons 50. Plus de 9000 personnes reçoivent de l'eau (800 000 litres/mois). The Animal Sanctuary Capra Libera Tutti is a place where animals which are usually considered as products are saved from exploitation and slaughter and find refuge. About 400 animals live in complete freedom, here they are not considered neither ingredients nor products. For their maintenance, for medical care and for the preservation of the facilities, constant help is needed to ensure that this place can continue to exist and resist. The total costs exceed 250 euros per day.

Le Centre de récupération hérisson « La Ninna » est situé dans la région Piémont à Novello, dans la province de Cuneo et est un centre spécialisé dans la prise en charge du hérisson, dans leur conservation afin de les remettre en place (si possible) à l'état sauvage dans leur habitat. L'idée de créer un endroit pour traiter et soigner les hérisson a surgi suite à la découverte d'un orphelin d'hérisson de quelques grammes « Ninna », en prenant soin du vétérinaire Massimo Vacchetta.

At Rifugio Miletta over 200 animals find freedom and peaceful life, living together in peace and harmony, coming from situations of hardship, suffering, and slavery. Rifugio Miletta is also a Wild Live Rescue Center. The costs are enormous and to continue we need help from all people sensitive to animal rights.

Investighiamo e lavoriamo per impedire atti di crudeltà e maltrattamento e per aiutare gli asini in difficoltà (299 quelli raggiunti e aiutati nel solo 2016). Ci occupiamo di educazione e di interventi assistiti per persone con bisogni speciali. Siamo la sede italiana di The Donkey Sanctuary, ente che da quasi 50 anni opera in tutto il mondo in difesa degli asini.

E l'esperienza da volontaria in un rifugio per animali considerati "da reddito" me lo ha dimostrato. Ed è lì che è maturata la "folle" idea di essere una goccia nel mare, di creare un piccolo rifugio dove poter accogliere animali altrimenti destinati allo sfruttamento ed alla sofferenza.

Cos'è progettocuoriliberionlus? È il sogno e la volontà di renderlo vero, di salvare non solo cani e gatti da situazioni di enorme maltrattamento, ma di dar voce proprio a chi non ne ha nemmeno un po e sono gli animali cosiddetti da macello. Loro sono i meno tutelati, un massacro silente e quotidiano. Il progettocuoriliberi nasce proprio per fare qualche piccola goccia nel mare. Costruire stalle per accogliere mucche, maiali, pecore, cani e gatti, chiunque riusciamo a salvare.

La Rete dei Santuari di Animali Liberi in Italia, nata nel 2014, è un’aggregazione di Rifugi e Santuari, presenti in varie regioni italiane, affini nel loro percorso e accomunati da una Carta dei Valori.
