Les Plumes d'Ixelles ASBL is a non-profit organization for the protection of rock pigeons. Stéphanie, the founder, fights for their contraception and daily feeding. In Ixelles (BE), she already cares for several groups of pigeons and still want to do more. But the cost is already huge! Stéphanie absolutely needs our support to continue her work. Im Süden Äthiopiens, in einer ländlichen Region mit sehr geringen wirtschaftlichen Ressourcen, befindet sich das Gambo-Missionskrankenhaus. Es bietet allen Einwohnern der Region erschwingliche Gesundheitsversorgung und nimmt selbst die ärmsten Menschen aus entlegenen Gebieten auf. Die Bevölkerung leidet unter schwerer Unterernährung, Dehydration, Malaria, Tuberkulose, AIDS, Lungenentzündung, Meningitis usw. Und Kinder sind am stärksten gefährdet und am häufigsten betroffen.

Was würde passieren, wenn es kein Wildtierkrankenhaus gäbe? Wer würde sich um die mehr als 7.000 Tiere kümmern, die jedes Jahr in unserem Auffangzentrum behandelt werden? GREFA ist eine gemeinnützige NGO, die seit 45 Jahren Projekte zum Schutz bedrohter Arten sowie zur Rettung und Rehabilitation verletzter oder kranker Wildtiere durchführt. GAB is an association that fights against the mistreatment and abandonment of the Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz. This breed is used for hunting and when they are "no longer useful" they are abandoned. It is the same problem as with galgos and podencos, except that the bodegueros are not such a well known breed. The money raised goes directly to pay for the dogs' homes, which cost 100 euros per month per dog, plus countless veterinary expenses. Every euro counts to keep saving dogs.

This group is created to help the many needs of Cal Lari, ADE’s "big" shelter. In it almost 50 horses and other animals live free. Gary, was rescued this summer of '22, a welsh pony condemned for malformation in its legs to starve and thirst in a cage of iron rods next to a road. After his rescue and hospital admission to the veterinary clinic, we have him recovering in Cal Lari. Keeping one horse a month is 200 € only in food.
