Equi Dolce Association was set up in central France in December 2022. We are 6 experienced horse people passionate about the welfare of equines with a mission to help horses, ponies and donkeys. Those abandoned, maltreated or destined for the abattoir. Also those who have lost their human/who's human can no longer take care of them. At her haven, with other rescues, Lucy has 12 rehabilitated horses and donkeys. She lives on site in her caravan and has dedicated the past 15 years to helping animals in the Roma communities of rural Bulgaria. She delivers hay to the poorest of horse owners, gives out better fitting tack to working horses in need and provides tick treatment, dewormers and general medical aid. Lucy relies totally on donations and voluntary help to meet the needs of her equines and those at 'Outreach.'

The association La Ferme des Rescapés, created in 2009, is located in the south of France (Lot department), on an organic farm. Managed by two women, it saves hundreds of farm animals and companions abused, abandoned, destined for slaughter or euthanasia. Its farm of 29 hectares is a haven for the 600 survivors: cats, dogs, horses, ponies, donkeys, chickens, sheep, goats, Nac ... There is no reproduction.

We are an animal rescue in the heart of France, we rescue all animals and currently have over 100 to care for. We neuter and re-home when possible. We have 16 horses/ponies and over 60 cats plus lots of other animals. We struggle daily in this climate of living and appreciate every little bit of help.

The Pegasus Sanctuary is home to 10 elderly horses, ponies and donkeys, all saved from the abattoir. They will remain in our care for the rest of their lives. We rely entirely on donations. Your compassion and generosity will make a desperately needed difference and help us care for our aging residents - feed, hay and vet bills are our biggest expenses. Based in rural Normandy, the Sanctuary is a registered French charity, Association Loi de 1901. Visitors are welcome.
