L'associació Amics dels Animals de Palafolls és una entitat sense ànim de lucre constituida al 2007 amb el propòsit de donar atenció a aquells gossos i gats que han estat abandonats i proporcinar-los-hi una nova llar i siguin tractats de la manera que els corresponen: amb atenció i estima. Somos una ONG, registrada y formada por unos pocos voluntarios. Nos encargamos de alimentar, cuidar y sobre todo esterilizar los gatos callejeros del pueblo de L'Escala (Girona) aplicando el programa CER. Anualmente operamos a mas de 200 gatos. Necesitamos 400 teamers para poder pagar los consiguientes gastos veterinarios incluidos los derivados de curas cuando alguno esta enfermo y tener las colonias controladas adecuadamente. Xènia is a pretty little girl became tetraplegic due the enterovirus outbreak happened in Spain on 2016. She had the most agressive strain, D68 that made several damages in her spinal chord. She's been in the PICU for 3 months having 3 heart attacks and 2 pneumonia, and she recovered succesfully. After that we'd been in Guttmann Institute, a recovery center for 6 months. Sono Pol, sono nato il 25 maggio 2012. Ho una grave lesione cerebrale, causata dalla mancanza di ossigeno durante la mia nascita. Soffro di gravi crisi di epilessia, problemi di mobilità, dolori muscolari e insonnia e grazie a tutti i contributi ho fatto tutti i tipi di trattamenti in Spagna e negli Stati Uniti. Al momento stiamo raccogliendo fondi per nuove terapie e futuri interventi medici che miglioreranno la mia mobilità. Aiutami a realizzare i sogni. Conto su di te!
