We support a private animal charity on Crete. Sarah, a Swiss woman, lovingly and extremely self-sacrificingly takes care of durchlfd. about 40 cats & 35 dogs and works tirelessly to change the way the locals think. She takes in strays and sick animals at home or sets up feeding stations, nurses them back to health and helps them lead a life worth living. Strength & power is there, unfortunately there is always a lack of money for a doctor, food & accessories. 1EURO=1000THANKS

small private cat shelter in Lanzarote: Sigrid, a very enthusiastic cat rescuer, needs help: Not only is she taking care of her rescued "regulars", but also of strays in the area. And of course, there's a never ending stream of emergencies coming in along the way. They all want to be treated and nursed back to health properly. As you can imagine, it is hard to say no. Sigrid is helping wherever she can. But this takes a lot of effort, and even more money.

Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

Unser Tierschutzverein hat seinen Sitz in Kaarst, aber wenn es um verwahrloste oder verlassene Katzen geht, die dringend Hilfe benötigen, kennen wir keine Stadtgrenzen. Wir arbeiten auf ehrenamtlicher Basis und sind ein kleines Team, das hilft wo es kann und so gut es geht. Wir betreiben KEIN Tierheim, sondern arbeiten mit Pflegestellen, d.h. unsere Katzen sind in privaten Haushalten untergebracht und bleiben dort in der Regel bis wir ein passendes Zuhause oder den Besitzer gefunden haben.
