The Douages sanctuary is the biggest sanctuary in France for farmed animals. Over 800 animals, saved from slaughterhouses or mistreatments, are now living a peaceful life at the Douages. The sanctuary takes care of sheep, goats, horses, pigs, cows, chickens... and many other animals. We only live through donations. Please help us to keep welcoming and taking care of all these animals who want to live a happy and peaceful life far from slaugherhouses.

My name is Ana Inés Herrera and I've been collecting funds to help rescue horses from Argentina. We have spent 8 years raising awareness, rescuing and recovering horses that have been subjected to the scourge of blood traction and animal abuse: horses tied to heavy carts that collect waste, malnourished, dehydrated, forced to work long hours with whips and sticks to the point of dying on the streets. We have a shelter that houses 140 horses.

Dear 2559 followers, If all of our followers would help with 1€ a month, we would have enough to feed all our rescue horses and continue to rescue many more. At the moment, the grass is still growing, and all our horses eat hay. Hard food, wormers, vitamins, and water. Altogether, our bills at this time of the year raise over 1500€ a month easily. When the grass is, here again, our hay costs decrease, and it all gets easier, but it would be so nice to have your support over the next months.

Josette et les petites bêtes est un refuge antispéciste pour les animaux dits "de ferme". Chèvres, moutons, truies, poules y trouvent une seconde vie suite à de la maltraitance ou des abandons, dans un milieu de vie et avec de soins adaptés à leurs besoins. Et beaucoup d'amour ! L'association Handi'cats existe depuis bientôt 5 ans, elle est spécialisée dans la prise en charge d'animaux handicapés, blessés ou ayant besoin de soins. Certains de nos animaux étant très âgés ou très handicapés, resteront à vie à l'association, et nécessiteront des soins et des traitement jusqu'à la fin de leur jour. Les nouveaux venus ont souvent besoin d'équipements spéciaux, de chirurgie, de visite vétérinaires spécialisée. Nous avons besoin de vous tous pour continuer.
