1000 Moustaches is a French rescue created in March 2020 in order to help animals on a local scale. We save abandoned and stray pets and, once they're neutered, identified, tested and vaccinated, we put them up for adoption. We also try to raise public awareness and teach people more about animal welfare and health issues.
1000 Moustaches is a French rescue located in Western France. We save cats (mainly), dogs, rabbits, chinchillas and other pets, whether they're abandoned by their families or strays. We receive no governmental funding and depend entirely on donations. Due to the inflation of these past few years, vet fees have skyrocketed and so have our invoices. En mai, place à Brigand ! Ce minou n'a que 4 ans, mais en a déjà vu des vertes et des pas mûres… Et il n'en a pas encore fini :(
Malgré deux opérations, sa fente palatine persiste et le gêne dans sa vie de tous les jours, notamment pour manger.
Pourtant, ça reste un chat doux et adorable, qui adore les câlins et les gros dodos !
Nous attendons encore de savoir si une troisième opération doit être envisagée, croisez les doigts pour lui !
May the 4th be with Brigand! This 4-year old kitty's life hasn't been too kind to him, and he still isn't out of the woods.
He's had two surgeries, but his cleft palate hasn't healed properly, which makes his daily life uncomfortable. And yet, he remains an adorable, cuddly cat who loves being petted and sleeping.
We're waiting for the vet's feedback to know if we should try one more surgery. Fingers crossed for him!
