Rifugio dei Tassi is a nonprofit antispecisesist association based in Iggio, near Pellegrino Parmense (PR). Here volunteers take care for animals seized from exploitative or mistreatment situations. The goal is to give dignity to every life! In addition to meeting our guests, you can participate in nature art classes, relax on our walks, spend, find a slow pace of life in our synergistic vegetable garden.

The project aims to help Martina, a friend of ours who for about 2 years has been committed to helping non-human animals of all species. Martina (who is always the first to be called when someone in Catania finds an non human in need) currently lives with 20 non-human animals, but her land is often a temporary shelter for other animals that need a hand, and this involves significant medical and food expenses. https://www.facebook.com/rifugiomalapocca
