We are an association formed by volunteers who love these little beings that one day sneaked into our lives. We help to feed and control colonies of cats in Barcelona, rescuing and giving up abandoned puppies and adult cats. We want to raise awareness about respect and responsible ownership as the only way to solve the dramatic situation of homeless cats. You can be part of this, cheer up.

Espai de Gats is a cat adoption centre in Barcelona where we work to find homes for adult cats, who unfortunately are more invisible in shelters and refuges. Every month, we need €3,500 for dry and wet food, litter, veterinarians, medicines, rent for the premises... This non-profit project is sustainable thanks to people like you, who love animals. With your contribution, you help us to continue finding homes for more adult cats.

Sóm un grup de voluntaris que portem les colònies dels gats del carrer,tenim set colònies i el que fem es esterelitzar-los, alimentar-los i donar atenció veterinaria quan ho necessiten!! Donem adopcions de cadells i gats abandonats o no ferals i els ajudem amb tot el que calgui!! Perquè ells s'ho mereixen tot!!!!

We have about 600 Cats in controlled colonies. The oldest cat in the colony was KITTY with 25 years of age. We currently have many cats over the age of 17 in our colonies. Every week felines in very bad condition are RESCUED, they live in the HOGAR de los Gatos. The Sanctuary's job is to regain their physical and mental state to find a new family for them. About 700 Cats depend on us, all of them receive their veterinary assistance when they need it.

Mi nombre es Desirèe y me dedico al rescate de gatitos y gestión de colonias felinas. Actualmente gestiono yo sola 3 colonias que hacen un total de 35 gatos, a los que esterilizo, alimento y cuido. También saco a todos los gatitos que son sociables, para su posterior adopción. ¡Si te apetece unirte a mi grupo estarás ayudando a muchos gatitos!
