Abatino Wildlife Park offers shelter and care for about 450 animals in trouble, both native and exotic. Every week we spend around 700€ for fresh fruits and vegetables, not to mention dried fruit, bird feed, yogurt and various seeds. Would you like to contribute to the welfare of these animals? ATO is the first rehabilitation center for primates in Benin, with over 90 residents (2025). The center, in collaboration with the forestry authorities, rescues primates held illegally to rehabilitate them for life in the wild and eventually release them into their natural habitat. Three species have already disappeared from the country! Deforestation, poaching for bushmeat, and the sale of babies as pets are the main causes of primate decline in Benin.
