Did you know that Fragile X Syndrome is the first hereditary cause of decreased intellectual capacity? It affects 1 in 4,000 boys and 1 in 6,000 girls. From the Association, we have been working for 25 years in order to offer support and guidance to families and professionals, promote awareness of the syndrome and provide a specialized service for people with FXS in order to achieve their full inclusion in society.

Imagina que como padre o madre, un día te dan el diagnóstico de que tu hijo/a tiene un síndrome raro del cual no hay casi especialistas, un síndrome que prácticamente nadie conoce... tu vida acaba de dar un giro de 360 °C. Hablamos del Síndrome X Frágil, que pese a no ser prácticamente conocida, es la 1a causa hereditaria de diversidad intelectual. Este proyecto va enfocado a dar apoyo y orientación a estas familias desde el momento del diagnóstico así como en todas las etapas de su vida.
