We are a small NGO in rural Northern Malawi. We started feeding the 200+ orphans and other hungry children in the village at weekends. Now over 700+ hungry children come to be fed... some of them from 20km away. There are no other organisations working this far north. It only costs £10 per child per year to feed them 2 meals each weekend..but that is £7000k a year...we rely on donations....please help.
700+ hungry children walk up to 20km on a Saturday and Sunday to receive food. There are no other agencies working in rural Northern Malawi, nor do they have immediate plans to be. Teachers have noticed improvement in self-esteem, concentration and attendance now the children have at least 2 proper meals a week. It’s £10 to feed a child 104 meals a year. That’s £7k +. Please help. We can give these kids a chance.

This is such a great idea to raise funds for feeding the children.
On Saturday a little girl came for the first time to the Foundation. She thanked Levison and everyone who had made it possible for her to eat a meal.
For the two days previous, she had eaten maize stalks at the only food source available to her. Normally maize stalks, being a bit like sugar cane, are used as a sort of sweet, but to this child, they were her only option.
A pound a month, so that no child has to live off maize stalks, is nothing at all to one person but the larger the number of Teamers, it will make a huge difference
