I'm Simba, a Great Dane. My caregiver rescued me from the brink of death. I have several chronic illnesses that prevent me from eating commercial food like most of my furry friends. Among other things, I was diagnosed with a disease called IBD, which is a chronic inflammation of the intestines that prevents me from absorbing all the nutrients I need to be healthy and strong. My diet is special, very strict and expensive. My human mom needs you.

ACUNR (Animales con un nuevo rumbo) is a non-profit organization founded with the goal of helping animals in need. For 18 years, we have dedicated our lives to them—rescuing and treating them, and providing a dignified, well-cared-for life while they stay with us until we find their families.
