We are a non-profit NGO funded by donations. We focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing sanctuary for birds. We handle around 2,000 inquiries and release an average of 250 birds annually. Many come from seizures, trafficking, abuse, and abandonment, and we give them a second chance. Avetropic somos una organización sin ánimo de lucro que tiene como objetivo velar por el bienestar de las psitácidas tenidas en cautividad. Para ello, creamos el Centro de Rescate y Rehabilitación de Psitácidas Avetropic, donde rescatamos loros que necesitan tener una segunda oportunidad para ofrecerles un futuro mejor. We help and keep safe around 150 animals (dogs and cats), whom were victims of abandonment and/or abuse. We provide them with shelter, food, veterinary care and lots, lots of love; we are their temporary family and home.
