Somos una pequeña asociación sin ánimo de lucro, situada en Brenes (Sevilla), una zona en la que existe un gravísimo problema de abandono y maltrato hacia los animales. Carecemos de apoyo institucional, así como de refugio propio. Los perros y gatos rescatados van a parar a casas de acogida, una nave prestada acondicionada, y la mayoría a residencias de pago que nos llevan a tener gastos mensuales entre alojamiento, manutención y veterinarios que ascienden a varios miles de euros.

Protectora AMIKO está constituida por voluntarios rescatamos y buscamos hogares de acogida y adopción para animales víctimas de maltrato y abandono en nuestro municipio. Nuestro proyecto inmediato está dirigido a escolares, la labor de rescate y búsqueda de adopciones no serviría de mucho si no la acompañásemos de una tarea de información y concienciación a las futuras generaciones en el cuidado y respeto hacia los animales. Continuamos con la campaña de esterilización de la colonia felina.

!Tierschutz ist Charaktersache! Wir leben den Tierschutz und kümmern uns um verlassene Hunde in Bosnien und Kroatien.. Wir fahren etwa alle 3 Wochen selber nach Bosnien und Kroatien und bringen Futter und Sachspenden zu den Tieren die unsere Hilfe so sehr brauchen.. Etwa 300 Hunde versorgen wir alleine in Bosnien.. Es müssen Pflegestellen gefunden und bezahlt werden..Die Hunde müssen tierärztlich versorgt und je nach Alter kastriert werden.. Wir sind über jede Unterstützung dankbar..

Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.
