We are working in Katuk, a small village in Kenya, lifting the orphaned children and others with high vulnerability from the shoulder of their worn out grand parents and giving them an opportunity to go to school. We help vulnerable Elderly Persons from their syndrome of emptiness and helping to restoring their Dignity. We support the local school to which we send the children to ensuring quality Education. We cannot do it alone, we need you all.

Since 2008, at the Miranda Foundation we have rescued 80 horses that lived in difficult situations and mistreatment, isolation and abandonment and we have given them a life in freedom. In order to continue with our objective, we need financial resources. Now more than ever, the drought situation forces us to supplement the feeding of the horses and consumes our resources. The initial aim of the project was building a shelter for dogs, promoting neutering/spaying and rabies vaccination of the shelter dogs; this should bring about a conceptual change among the Gambian population. Like elsewhere in Africa, most Gambians only see dogs as rabid animals causing disease, not without a reason, for rabies is an endemic illness in many of these countries.
