Hi and welcome. In short: in 2010, I created a blog to give visibility to bullies looking for home. "Un Pit Bull Per Amico" then became an active rescue organization that saves Pits and AmStaffs, rescuing them from unease situations such as abandonment, abuse and confinement in shelters where they have no hope. I'm Manuela, live in Turin and w UPBPA I've rescued, cared for, and given up many dogs for adoption (you can find them on the blog!), but to carry on this important mission, I need you.
In July 2010, I started a blog that supported bullies looking for homes. In January 2012, my project took shape, and I founded "Un Pit Bull Per Amico Rescue," a project that rescues Pit Bulls and similar animals from abandonment, kennels, abuse, and exploitation. Some of my bullies are paid boarders, while others are personally hosted by me, waiting to find a forever home! As always with rescuing a dog, there are many expenses: boarding, food, flea treatments, medications, supplements for those with serious conditions, vaccinations, veterinary visits, and medical checkups. In questo momento ho bisogno di aiuto per le cure di due bulle del Rescue, Siria e Tia che hanno la stessa età: sono del 2014. I fondi raccolti verranno utilizzati per saldare le spese di esami diagnostici e medicinali quali Antimania per la cura della leishmania ed Hepagen a supporto del fegato affaticato di Siria (460€+255€ esami specifici per leish e tiroide) - e per Tia abbiamo il Cardisure e diversi integratori a supporto della funzionalità renale (cifra tot tra esami e medicinale: 360€).
Ringrazio chi mi sostiene in questi momenti difficili, solo insieme possiamo fare molto per loro! Non lasciamole sole.

L'ultimo recupero di Un Pit Bull Per Amico è Giulio, questo rottamino adorabile ch'era invisibile e depresso in un canile privato della Puglia. Adesso è ospite del Rifugio LNDC di Trani, col Rescue ci occupiamo del suo mantenimento e delle spese veterinarie; al momento Giulio è in fase di ripresa e vederlo sorridere è meraviglioso :) solo unendo le forze con i fantastici volontari della LNDC Trani abbiamo potuto dargli una nuova vita, per ora in box, ma decisamente ben accudito e amato da tutti! Naturalmente Giulio cercherà casa non appena sarà pronto per un'adozione, voi continuate a seguirlo ;)
