Tutela Pipistrelli is a non-profit volunteer organisation whose members are permitted to rescue sick, injured and orphaned bats. The ultimate goal is rehabilitation and release back to the wild. We offer education and information to the general public, promotes bats as an important part of our ecology and actively participates in conservation projects which benefit bats and their habitat.
Tutela Pipistrelli has been dealing with bats in all aspects since 2012, both through the rehabilitation of animals (injured, preyed upon or simply weakened, of all age groups: adults, newborns and young) found on the ground in difficulty, and with consultancy to resolve any conflicts that sometimes arise in cohabitation with these particular mammals. We also deal with: monitoring and research in the field in collaboration with other ETS associations and the dissemination of correct information on bats. We have two aviaries and many guests: insectivorous bats in rehabilitation and also some fruit bats. The expenses to be faced are really many. For this reason we would like to ask for your support to help these splendid and useful mammals so particular that they never leave anyone indifferent: help us to save more and more of them!
