Dog Population Growth in Egypt
Dogs here often reach sexual maturity at just 6 months – and with 2 litters per year, their numbers multiply rapidly.
If we calculate with 7 puppies per litter, of which around 40% survive – and about half of those are female and able to reproduce – the result is:
➡️ Very conservatively calculated, the number grows in just 5 years from a single dog to around 900 animals.
CONCLUSION: Every neutering prevents unimaginable suffering and thousands of uncontrolled births.

Hunde werden hier oft schon nach 6 Monaten geschlechtsreif – und mit 2 Würfen pro Jahr vervielfacht sich ihre Zahl rasant.
Rechnet man mit 7 Welpen pro Wurf, von denen rund 40 % überleben – und wiederum etwa die Hälfte davon weiblich und gebärfähig ist – ergibt sich:
➡️ Sehr konservativ gerechnet wächst die Zahl in nur 5 Jahren von einem einzigen Hund auf rund 900 Tiere.
FAZIT: Jede Kastration verhindert unvorstellbares Leid und tausendfache unkontrollierte Vermehrung.
