Rodents are another type of animals that get abandoned but always forgotten about. We are the only charity in this area that fosters rabbits, hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs. Some of them have been abused as well and we try to re-socialise them and find better homes for them. Their up-keep is quite expensive due to their many needs, so we're grateful for any contribution.
Since 2019 , The Animal Collective has helped over 200 rabbits, guinea-pigs, gerbils, hamsters, rats and chinchillas. This included the castrations (of mainly the males), the respective vaccinations and regular parasite treatments. The daily food costs are also immense. As there aren't any other charities dedicated to these species in the Campo de Gibraltar, we would like to support this charity, so they can continue their hard work.
